CBD is offered by thousands of companies.

The vast majority of marketing efforts revolve around the simple statement, “Oh, we have pet stuff too.”

The pet CBD marketing industry leaders have proven to be able to rise above the rest.

They did this by focusing on one of the most powerful principles in persuasion throughout human history.

It is easy to invoke this principle, which is the good news.

It is as simple as following a few steps. I will explain this below.

These steps can also be used to bypass the restrictive advertising regulations that currently plague the entire CBD industry.

DOGS TALK ABOUT CBD

Dog lovers are aware of the messages our furry friends send to us. Of course, not in words.

Instead, they send us clear messages with tail-wagging and deep staring, smiling and bouncing around, among other things.

If Anthony Robbins is right about the definition of communication (and I believe he is), then it’s the results that matter.

Dogs get results. They’re also telling us a lot more about CBD oil.

Carole Jarvis received the message from Coco, her 3-year-old Old English Mastiff.

Carole’s words:

“[Coco] has severe arthritis in her knees and hip dysplasia of both her hips. Tramadol 150mg twice daily was all she could take. She is now unable to take anti-inflammatory drugs. I can’t afford to pay for all her operations so as a last resort, CBD oil was tried. It has been a month since she started it and she is now a completely different dog. She is no longer in pain, and she’s not stressed out at all. CBD oil is a wonderful product that I can’t praise enough…

Lori Dzingala received clear communication from her twelve-year-old Leonberger.

Lori says:

“[She] started having seizures. We were losing her after she had a huge seizure. We tried CBD because a client suggested it to us. She was walking and trotting within three days. The seizures were under control.

These are only two examples of the many ways CBD has helped dogs communicate their health.

They have shared their feelings about a variety of health issues, including cancer, anxiety and sleep disorders, epilepsy and joint problems.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CATS

Our feline friends don’t have it any other way. (Aside their famous aloofness, pickiness about food, my fellow cat people understand what I’m talking.

Alicia Antonio heard Charli her older tabby loud and clear.

As Alicia explains,

“Charli lost her ability to walk on a sunny Wednesday last month. She was paralysed by afternoon and I raced her to the vet.

“Prognosis?” Not good.

“Definitely neurological. Cause undetermined.

“Could [CBD] work with my cat?” What was I to lose?

“I gave her the weekend to rest and recuperate, provided she was not in pain. I also suggested that she look into CBD oil for a possible treatment.

“I must say, the results were Astonishing. After her CBD oil started, her right pupil became normal again. Charli was able to eat and drink again after just four days of using CBD oil twice daily. Before that, Charli had refused all food and had stopped drinking water. I had to keep her alive and hydrated by giving her water through a baby syringe.

She was able, five days after she started using the CBD oil to help her, to use her front legs and to sit up on her own against furniture and walls. Her back legs began to work the next day but she was still weak and wobbly, and she struggled to walk more than a few steps. Our cat started CBD oil a week later and was walking again, albeit slowly.

“Cannabis saved my life!”

WHO TRAINING WHOM?

Our two little terrier mix “allow” me one cup of coffee every morning before I start my morning walk.

I know what they want. They have taught me well.

After they’ve finished walking, it’s time to get their morning dental treatment before I can return to my cup of coffee.

Our young orange tabby “talks” me into giving him treats. Evidently, I can be trained by felines and canines. We are all like that, don’t we?

This means that I am acutely aware of what my furry family members want or need, because they tell me.

I am drawn to CBD for pet wellness because of the many experiences of Carole and Lori, Alicia, and many others like them.

THE UNDERLYING MATERIAL MARKETING POWER

Good storytelling grabs and holds your attention.

This is just the beginning.

Pet CBD storytelling is only possible when there are shared hopes and experiences.

It is often called ” social Proof” by marketers.

This is a great way to promote pet CBD.

Social proof simply means that people make decisions based on the beliefs and statements of others.

Social proof is as old as the hills.

Over the centuries, its power has not diminished in any way. It is just as appealing today as it was before the time the pharaohs.

This principle is especially applicable to pet CBD marketing. It’s like a Social Proof Accelerator.

HARNESSING PET POWER

These three simple strategies are used by top CBD companies to show pet marketers how to use social proof.

They first attract a steady flow of pet owners who are happy.

They also give people the opportunity to boast about their pets via social media. They will do it anyway. It might be a good idea to have them do this on your company’s social networks.

These social media platforms are important drivers.

Video and photos from pet owners can be a great source of content.

You only need to curate it.

A great way to get attention for any business is having happy customers show off their little friends online.

2) They can also partner with influencers to climb the social proof ladder.

Influencers can bring in tons of social credibility. It’s like a rocket booster for social proof.

These are not ordinary influencers. These are actual pet influencers.

Imagine yourself as Mannie, the French Bulldog. He had 7,600 YouTube subscribers and 1.1 million Instagram followers, according to last count.

Mannie’s words are a great example of ‘canine social proof’ from top dogs online.

Mannie has a large range of products. His website sells drinkware, apparel and art as well as face masks. Online, he promotes supplements, CBD products and even a car washe.

He’s not the only one. We can do a quick search on Twitter for other influencers in pet marketing to find a list. At the moment, the biggies are @remixthedog and @tinkandmeek.

Remember that even though I have been referring to dogs, the same strategies can be applied to cats.

For some great feline influencers, check out Instagram for ThatLittlePuff and Venus the Two Face Cat.

3) Third, because company leaders are pet owners, they are actively involved in dialogue with pet owners.

Answering questions in forums and commenting on blogs is a simple but effective way to build trust and credibility online. Forums and blog commenting are available for all niches.

If done well, it attracts other responses. The more, the better.

Voila! More social proof.

FIRST, “PRE-SUASION”.

Roberth Cialdini (influence researcher) explains in detail how persuasion marketing works.

His book “Pre-suasion” explains why persuasion marketing is so effective.

They arrange for the target audience to respond to a marketing message before it is presented. Thus, “pre-suasion.”

This is marketing material for pet CBD marketing. It refers to creating materials for establishing KLT (knowing, liking and trusting).

These materials are designed to convince potential customers to look into the social proof surrounding CBD for pets. It is a marketing message that gets attention.

While social proof is primarily generated by users or influencers, it’s important to develop KLT through well-written professional writing.

Here are all other attention-getting techniques: blog posts, email series and brochures, press releases, magalogs, free reports, magazine articles, free reports, etc.

People can write to generate KLT and get into the top of a sales funnel. This creates a natural flow towards social proof, which ultimately leads to more sales.

Here’s where you can find me. I am an expert in writing persuasive and persuasive marketing copy.
